This blog post focuses on how the COVID-19 pandemic has more severely affected people of color. Although unemployment, housing affordability, food insecurity, access to health insurance has affected the entire country, communities of color have borne a disproportionate burden of the pandemic in terms of economic and health outcomes due to the effects of persistent structural racism.
