Why Do Black Americans Have Higher Prevalence of Hypertension?

This journal article explores some of the hypothesis of why Black Americans have a higher prevalence of hypertension and recommends that future research should further assess the relationships of gene-environment interactions, job-related stress, racism, and other psychosocial factors to racial/ethnic disparities in the prevalence of hypertension.
