This compendium of policy and practice recommendations presents the proposals from the three issue briefs to enhance mental health outcomes for girls of color. The brief suggests health care and mental health care entities need to deepen their understanding of the communities they seek to serve, including, for example, by mitigating the “tax” levied on those seeking health care and mental health services, specifically low income clients.
