Project LEIA (Local Estimates of Internet Adoption) is an initiative by the NTIA and U.S. Census Bureau that provides experimental, county-level estimates of household wired internet adoption to improve data accuracy for policymaking. This project addresses gaps in small-area data on internet access, using existing surveys and auxiliary data to model internet subscription rates.
